How do I put subtitles while watching a downloaded film?
I’ve been using the pirate bay as a torrent resource, and I download my things on “uTorrent”.. so some of my movies are in French, and before I download them I make sure that on the site it says there are English subtitles, although when I start the movie it goes straight to the film there is no “menu.” Any idea how I can get the subs on? Thanks!

The subtitle file should be a .SRT file so make sure that it’s in the same folder as the movie itself, and with your subtitles switched on it will work, it does depend on what you use as a media player though, I would suggest you use Nero, that has been what I’ve used for years to play/burn/rip my media and it’s never had any compatability issues. The player also has a settings menu that allows you to change different features including subtitles.
If you have the .srt file and it’s still not working, you could try downloading another subtiltle file for the movie, use google to find one. I’ve had dud subtitle files a few times and downloading another has worked.
