Is it possible to burn iTunes movie downloads to DVD?

My friend downloaded a couple tv shows on iTunes and wants to know if he can burn them to dvd? He said he found out how to burn it to a data disc…but he wants to be able to watch on a dvd player. Is that possible?

Use Nero Vision Express. (This is sort of enhanced version of the Nero burning Software).

Nero Vision would allow you to create a DVD video project which creates a movie playable on DVD players. It provides a drag and drop interface which is very easy to use.

Obviously I am assuming that you are using Windows.

Generally almost all downloaded video is in compressed .avi format (divx, xvid). Better way is to use dvd player, which supports this format. This players have mark “DivX” on the enclosure and cost from $50 and up. They play data dvd. To make DVD-video you have to convert video files to DVD format (takes few hours -depends of your PC). Many programs for this available on the market (free, shareware, paid).
